CEUs/PDHs and the Conference...
FRWA is an approved provider for Drinking Water, Wastewater, and Distribution License CEUs. We are also a provider of PDHs (Professional Development Hours) for Professional Engineers area of practice and Laws and Rules #4742.
Again this year we will be offering a special class on Professional Engineering Rules and Laws during our Pre-Conference Training on Monday, August 13. The Course is designed to satisfy Professional Engineer’s PDH Laws and Rules Requirements. There will be a $75.00 separate charge for each PE attending this course. PEs are not required to attend the additional two days of the Conference to earn PDHs for this Course. If you choose to attend the entire Conference additional Registration Charges will apply. Other attendees that pay the full registration for the Conference that do not wish to earn PDHs are welcomed to attend, this session however no CEUs will be awarded for this class. You may also earn 0.1 CEUs/1.0 PDHs in the Exhibit Hall during breaks and socials as in previous years. You must attend Tuesday and Wednesday as well.
Please pick the track you wish to attend for the CEUs/PDHs offered at the Conference. You must attend the Opening Session in addition to all of the classes in your chosen Track to qualify for the 1.0 CEUs/10 hours PDHs (Area of Practice). The Water Track, the Drinking Water Review, and the Distribution Review is for Water CEUs only and the Wastewater Track and Wastewater Review is for Wastewater CEUs only; however, the CEUs earned for the Administrative Track may be applied to either your water or wastewater license.
You may earn bonus CEUs at the Pre-Conference Training (0.4 CEUs) on Monday the 13th; the combined DW/WW may be applied to either your water, wastewater, or distribution systems license, the DW/DS Review Course may be applied to your water or distribution system license, and the WW Review Course may be applied to your wastewater license. However, this is considered bonus training, and you must attend both Tuesday (August 14) and Wednesday (August 15) to receive the bonus CEUs.
