Remembering Donnie Morrison

Donnie was a long time Water Circuit Rider primarily serving the central/southwest Florida area. Our hearts are broken over this tremendous loss in our rural water family.

Donnie’s humble dedication to protecting the drinking water of Florida was evident to everyone who met him. He was a leader in times of emergency response, putting in long hours to assist systems to get them back online. His systems knew him as someone they can count on to be there when they called.

We, at FRWA, knew him as a company man, an encyclopedia of drinking water advice, a smile even when times were bad, someone we could count on, and one of the hardest working people we have ever known.

Most of all, the FRWA world will remember him as, "Mr. Popcorn" at the FRWA Conference. Donnie would stand for hours and serve up some of the best popcorn you have ever tasted.

Donnie's family invites you to join them as we share stories, laughter, and memories, and to honor the life Donnie lived and the love he gave.

Your presence would mean a great deal as we celebrate him in the place he called home.
