Event Details

This workshop was designed to give Water and Wastewater Utility staff hands on training in Emergency Preparedness, Response, and Recovery.   Items covered will include:

  • How to update Emergency Response Plans
  • Provide experiences and lessons learned from past natural or man-made emergencies

 This workshop will also provide training in the WaterTracker Program used during an Emergency Response.  Items covered will include:

  • How to update Emergency Contacts
  • How to post needs and/or available resources during an emergency event
  • How to complete and upload a Mutual Aid Agreement

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From the east travel east on I-75 to exit 303, turn right onto Hwy 441 in 2.6 miles turn left onto 100A, in 2.6 miles turn left onto Hwy 90, drive 2.3 miles turn right onto SE Timberwolf Dr. take 2 more lefts on Water Plant Rd and the gate to the plant is on your right. 

From the west  travel west on I-10 to exit 324, turn left onto US-90W travel 16.4 miles, turn left onto SE Timberwolf Dr., take 2 more lefts on Water Plant Rd and the gate to the plant is on your right.
