This course emphasizes the importance of collecting samples that follow the proper FDEP protocols for drinking water collection, handling of field documentation and chain of custody forms, and common issues with sampling and documentation. Course instruction will be provided by Katie Strothman of Sanders Laboratories, Inc. There will also be a hands-on observation session for the sample collection process and WTP tour courtesy of the City of North Port.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Via I-75: take exit 182 for Sumter Blvd toward County Rd 771/North Port. Merge on to Sumter Blvd. After two miles, turn right on to W Price Blvd. After 1/4 mile, turn left into Butler Park. Class will be held at the Morgan Family Community Center
